Money markets are the places where the various financial instrument are made available for the investors. The corporate borrowers to go into these markets to raise the funds to tide over their liquidity problem. Commercial papers are floated by the corporates in these markets for the needy to subscribe in order to amass funds for their short-term requirements. Banks are also using these money market instruments to raise funds to meet out their short-term fund needs.
